You look at me and you like what you see. That much is obvious. But you make no effort to take it further, to get to know me as a person. You want me in your bed and on your arm. No talking. No ruining that fantasy you've created.
I'm a real person too. I get sad and angry. I feel regret. I feel abused. You don't want to hear that. You want a smiling girl. A push-up bra. Eyes made up. You want other guys to look at you and be jealous that you have a hot bitch walking behind you. Always behind you. Your property. Never equals.
I have to chase you and whine to get a moment of attention. If, however, I dare to not answer you right away it's like the world is ending.
I have decided, boys, that you are stupid. I'm a strong woman. I'm a hot bitch. I refuse to be your afterthought. Suck on that, why don't ya?
Love, Me |

Remember when I told you to remind me about married guy? Yeah... it didn't work, I don't think. He ended up quitting the job. He says it's because his wife was throwing fits (which isn't altogether untrue) but I also think it's because I got a little carried away (and it takes two to tango, thank you kindly...)
So that's a done deal. It's better this way. No temptation on either side with him gone.
Btw - Seven Pounds is a great movie (even though I hated it and will never watch it again). Marley and Me is a horrible movie (and I will never watch that again either).
They both made me teary. The difference was the Seven Pounds had an actually good story and didn't bore me to tears.
See you tomorrow for the next installment of I-Hate-My-Life.
KTHX. |

I am calling to you, my lovely LJ friends to remind me that "Random-Married-Guy" is completely off limits as far as my flirting goes. Remind me that homewrecking-whore is not a label I want and remind me about karma.
Just remind me that married and/or taken boys are NOT okay to hit on (and or anything further). Kthx. |

... is AWESOME.
I was a bit disappointed after "My December" but Kelly Clarkson did a good job with this new one.
Good girl power songs... and I'm all about saying F-U to the guys. Heh. |

Me (last night): *Mantra, Mantra, Mantra* "You're too good, self. You deserve better. He's nothing. Don't speak to him. Don't be sad over him." *Text friends for help in not being sissy... check!*
Me (this morning): "That jerk! Had me sweating bullets over him for nothing. Smooth sailing from now on *Mantra, Mantra* "The first cut is the deepest."
Moral of the story - Everything is easier in the daylight. Night brings weakness and fear. For me, at least. |

| The Lucky Ones |
[Feb. 16th, 2009|04:12 pm] |
I officially love the movie "The Lucky Ones". Rachel McAdams can do no wrong in my eyes.
So they've been whoring me out at work... I am closing half the days this week at my regular store and the other half at a different store. It's difficult because I told my boss that I don't like working at the other store and she still allowed me to be scheduled there. I think that I will make it clear, once again, that I don't want to work there. That wasn't part of the bargain when I got this job and I don't want to be tossed around like some whore of babylon. Heh.
That's all, I'm bitchy lately. |

I rented Religulous tonight.
If you're religious, you are NOT going to like this.
But it's hilarious.
Bill Maher is my new hero.
I cannot wait to own this shit. |

My mind is a little scattered right now so I apologize, in advance, if I jump around with no direction whatsoever.
I have a headache. And I feel like even though I ran around all day like a chicken with its head cut off, I got nothing done. And for some reason my stupid new TV's sound is echoing. I can't figure out whether it's my own hearing making it sound funny or whether its actually doing something weird. I'm pissed.
I did my taxes last week... I should be getting my refund soon. It's not as much as I was hoping for but its better than nothing. Plus side. :) |

What keeps you guys sane? Like, an album? A book? A movie? A person?
I'm feeling very scattered and... not healthy, in the head I mean. (And yes, I'm aware how silly that sounds but I'm sure some people understand.) I'm just curious how other people deal with themselves on the days when they hate everything. |

One year anniversary of his death and he is nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of the Joker. How weird is it that with how much people loved The Dark Knight, that it's not nominated??

I shouldn't keep doing this... but what's the point of making money if you don't spend it, right? RIGHT!
Anyway, I made myself a promise that I would buy all sorts of junk I don't need things off my wishlist each paycheck (assuming they aren't high-dollar items) and get the wishlist down to a few things so I can add more.
I made this promise a while back and haven't worked towards it at all yet. However, I started today. I ordered 7 items (3 movies, 3 books and 1 piece of jewelry) for a total of $54.10. Not too shabby considering I would have paid that much for 2 movies at a store. So whatever. I'm good with it. I feel like I should start saving... but for what? Heh.
In other news, Dell is still being a shit head and pushed the ship date back on my TV again! Another week I have to wait because apparently they don't keep a very good eye on their stock levels. Whatever. Jerks. |

It's easy to forget about the kids when all the craziness that is the Inauguration is going on (although today, Sasha's pink coat made that awfully hard. Seriously, how cute did the Obama girls look?). Jenna and Barbara Bush have written a letter to Malia and Sasha with some helpful pointers on how to spend their 4; possibly 8; years. It's so adorable that I just have to share. |

Obama is just so darn good. I've been up since early watching all the madness that is a Presidential Inauguration. For me, that's ridiculous since I didn't get to bed until like 5 in the morning. But whatever, being a part of history (and being able to recall and remember it) is totally worth it. I can sleep when I'm dead. ;)
I want to cry... and I'm sure that I will considering I'm a huge baby about anything touching or sentimental. Go OBAMA!!
Let's get this party started!! |

| Newlyweds... |
[Jan. 13th, 2009|10:11 pm] |
You can make fun of me all you want (I regularly laugh at myself so it's all good) but I am watching Newlyweds and even though they are divorced and doing their own thing, Nick and Jessica are like my ultimate couple (not counting Brad and Angelina, who I am in love with). I just love how much they put up with from each other *more him than her, naturally). And, okay, I love their house and lifestyle as well. Whatever, I love them and I love this show.
What is marriage? Tuna, maids and buffaloes with wings. ;) |

| Stupid Dell... |
[Jan. 13th, 2009|08:05 pm] |
I ordered a 26'' LCD tv this weekend from Dell and it was supposed to be shipped today. Instead, I get an email telling me that Dell hates me and my order has been delayed for a week. Ok, I'm sure it's because of stock supplies or whatever but still, I feel free to bitch it out because I have to wait an extra week to get my shit but they sure had no problem charging me right on time. Jerks. |

| Angel-verse |
[Jan. 7th, 2009|11:07 pm] |
I occasionally get sucked into Angel. Every once in a while I'll just get in the mood and watch the entire series in a week. (Yes, I know... I lead a truly exciting life. What else do you have to do when you stay awake until 5 in the morning?) I'm in that mood now.
Can I just say, right here and now, that Joss Whedon is my hero! This man is seriously the most twisted and genius man alive. How I adore him. If you've never checked out Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, now is that time. It's fantastic.
Just a little something for you. |
